An error is raised if, in a call to fn:transform, the parameters supplied to fn:transform are invalid, for example if two mutually-exclusive parameters are supplied. If a suitable XSLT error code is available (for example in the case where the requested initial-template does not exist in the stylesheet), that error code should be used in preference.
